Bio

Alexys M. Carter joined Bongiorno, Montiglio & Palmieri, PLLC in 2019. Her practice focuses primarily in the areas of premises liability, automobile liability, products liability, construction defect and New York’s Labor Law. She handles all aspects of litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexys worked at a prominent civil litigation/insurance defense firm, as well as a plaintiff’s personal injury and workers’ compensation boutique firm. She is especially familiar with New York’s Labor Law and possesses an OSHA-10 certification. The OSHA-10 certification, combined with her years of experience litigating construction claims on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, empowers her to zealously advocate on behalf of her clients in these often high exposure cases.

While at Touro, Alexys completed an externship with the Hon. Leonard D. Wexler in the Federal Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also was a member of the executive board of the Trial Advocacy and Practice Society and Touro’s Mock Trial team.
